A baby shower celebrates the special arrival of a new member of the family, and it makes sense that the baby shower invitation card should be just as special. Sharing this memorable moment with others is a once-in-a-lifetime event, so the invitation that goes with it should be just as meaningful. A great way to jumpstart your design journey is to find inspiration from other similar invitations. All of the invitations below were designed exclusively in Shutterstock Editor by yours truly, using the program’s selection of free fonts and shapes, along with beautiful backgrounds from the Shutterstock collection Your invitation can fit any style, but it takes time to think of a theme, color scheme, and fonts. To inspire your care, I created a few different cards using four popular baby shower invitation themes. Check them out below.
Planning a baby shower? It all starts with the invites. But unlike other parties where you’re just required to cover the basics—when, where, why and how to RSVP—baby shower invitation wording usually includes a bit of a boost about the sex of the baby, what the parents need and what kind of occasion the day will bring. You might need baby shower invitation wording for a boy or baby sprinkle wording for growing families. If the parents would like limited items, that may mean bring-a-book instead of a card wording or diaper shower invitation wording.
So you’re about to welcome a new little bundle of joy into your life. Between all of the planning, the saving, the waiting and belly growing, there is still some fun to be had. A baby shower is not only about celebrating the newest member of the family, but also honoring and supporting the parents. Between planning a party, setting the registry, choosing fun games, baby shower planning can get a bit overwhelming. The last thing you need to be thinking about is a seemingly small detail like the wording for your baby shower invitations. Unfortunately, the baby shower invite wording is one of the most important pieces of the party.
